Liz Caron is a sucessful FEI trainer and competitor. She has trained with some of the best in the country. Including Henk Van Bergen, Beth and Jen Beaumert, Courtney King, Cindy Sydnor, Anne Gribbons, Sarah Geikie, Conrad Schumacher and Klaus Balkenhol.

Elizabeth believes that the understanding of the horse and rider as a pair is what makes a successful training partnership. Through respect for the horse and rider she is able to bring along her horses as well as her clients and their horses. The well being of the horse is always paramount and because of that Elizabeth has been able to work with many different types and temperaments of horses successfully.

As a competitor she has been quite successful. She has claimed numerious championships and year end awards in region 8. Recently she has successfully entered the arena as an FEI competitor on her horses Dimension and Lentisco with scores into the 70's at Prix St. Georges. She has trained 'Lennie' (Lentisco) from 1st level and has found the process to be quite rewarding. Lennie is now beginning the process of becoming a Grand Prix horse, and has begun to master many of the movements and collection that will be required for that level.

Annie Morris

Annie Morris grew up in Arizona where she was born inexplicably addicted to horses.  She started riding at age six and became fascinated with dressage at age nine.

Attending college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, her main requirement was to study somewhere she could bring her horse.  She graduated with a degree in equine science and was showing the horse she trained from age four at Prix St. George.  She moved to New York where she worked for Lendon Gray, first as a working student then as the manager for over two years.  She remained manager for Heather Ward when she took ownership of the barn.  Annie has just arrived in Connecticut to assist Liz Caron at Carbery Fields as well as Beth Baumert at Cloverlea.  She is looking forward to getting to know everyone and have a great time here!
